two pounds.
i weighed myself at the gym today and it would appear as though i've lost a few pounds. it's been a week since i've had a cookie or brownie and i'm working hard at not obsessing about it, so this discovery helps to keep my focus. my goal is to lose 20 lbs, but i will be stoked as hell if i lose 10. there's a hot pair of pants in my closet just waiting for that weight to go away.
made an appointment with a new therapist today, too. i guess we'll see how that goes. she doesn't seem as engaging as my last one (who is not on my new health insurance - the only reason i won't be seeing her again) but hopefully she'll have things to teach me. if not, back to the drawing board.
